About a thousand foodwriters and gourmet audio-visual professionals from 40 countries are expected in Cannes at the 2nd Gourmet Voice Festival from 26 to 29 January 2006, in the prestigious surroundings of the Majestic Barrière hotel and the Palais des Festivals.

Several hundred journalists, writers, publishers, TV producers, chefs, presenters, critics and photographers converged on the French Riviera in November 2004 to attend the 1st Gourmet Media World Festival.

The “Gourmet Voice” Festival has been the place for those gourmet and media professionals, including such culinary luminaries as Alice Waters, Ferran Adrià, Joël Robuchon, Vincent Schiavelli, Jill Norman, Ken Hom and Pierre Hermé to meet up, exchange their experiences and honour the best international gourmet media.
